Budgies, also called parakeets

Budgies, also called parakeets, are like the perfect starter pet. They’re super adaptable to different places and don’t need crazy amounts of attention, which is awesome if you’ve never had a pet before. Plus you can actually train them to chill with you, which is pretty cool.

Some of these little guys can even copy words or sounds if you work with them enough, but honestly all budgies make cute chirpy noises that are kinda fun to have around.

They’re generally good pets for families and stuff, but obviously don’t let little kids mess with them unsupervised – that’s just common sense, right?

Anyway, if you’re thinking about getting one, you’ll wanna look into what they eat, what cage stuff they need, how to keep them clean, all that basic care stuff.
