Forum Policy

Welcome to Avery Budgies community!

To keep this forum a safe, helpful, and engaging place for everyone, please read and follow these guidelines. By participating, you agree to uphold these standards.

1. Be Respectful & Kind

  • Critique ideas, not people: Disagreements are welcome, but personal attacks, insults, or degrading language will not be tolerated.
  • Zero tolerance for hate: Harassment, bullying, and discriminatory language regarding race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or age are strictly prohibited.

2. Stay on Topic

  • Use the right category: Post your thread in the most relevant forum section, so members can find it easily.
  • One topic per thread: If you have a different question, please start a new thread rather than derailing an existing conversation.
  • Search before posting: Check if your question has already been answered by using the search function.

3. No Spam or Self-Promotion

  • Keep it natural: Unsolicited promotions, affiliate links, or mass messaging are not allowed.
  • Commercial posting: If you want to share a product or service, please contact the administrators for approval first.

4. Protect Privacy & Safety

  • Keep private info, private: Do not share sensitive personal information (phone numbers, addresses) about yourself or other members (doxxing).
  • No explicit content: Content that is sexually explicit, graphic, or otherwise not safe for work (NSFW) is not permitted.

5. Proper Formatting & Readability

  • Write clearly: Use proper spelling, grammar, and formatting. Avoid typing in ALL CAPS, as it can be interpreted as shouting.
  • Format code correctly: If you are sharing software or script snippets, please use the appropriate code block features for readability.
